17-Days Great Migration and Zanzibar Beach Holiday

 After breakfast early in the morning, our tour guide driver will pick you from Gold Crest Hotel and start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes.
The name of the park is originated from Tarangire river which winding its way through the parklands and is the only source of water for wildlife here during the dry season. The park is well-known for its large elephant herds, Tree-climbing African Python and diversity of landscapes. The landscapes you will see include seasonal swamps and savanna, with the Tarangire River. You may see lions stalking their prey and/ or leopards relaxing in the trees above. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you to the lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.

 After breakfast, you will depart to Lake Manyara National Park for wildlife game drives with picnic lunch boxes. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you to Marera Valley Lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330 sq. km (127 sq. miles), of which up to 200 sq. km (77 sq. miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. The park is famous for the arboreal lions, which hide among the branches of the trees, and the numerous colonies of baboons that populate the forest and which will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park. Also, the Park is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, Hippo, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, and buffalos. At some point during your game drive, you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.

 After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you at the hotel and transfer to Serengeti National Park by passing Ngorongoro conservation Area with picnic lunch. 

As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, "endless plains". The park has 6,900 sq miles (18,000 sq km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the great migration and 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes including the abundant impalas and Thomson's gazelles. As for big cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas. 

After the whole day journey our driver will take you to Kontiki Camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, after an early breakfast, you’ll make your way to the northern Serengeti and the Mara River to see the Great Migration. Our safari guide will be sure to find the best spot.

The Northern Serengeti offers a chance to escape the crowds. This region of the park is wedged between the Central Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the north. Therefore, it is remote and relatively inaccessible which means it sees fewer visitors. Travelers who make it to this corner of the Serengeti will be rewarded with gorgeous landscapes of green rolling hills, granite outcrops and acacia woodlands dotting open savanna. You'll see incredible wildlife and most importantly, massive herds of wildebeest and zebra making the dangerous crossing of the crocodile-infested Mara River during the great migration. This happens in July, August, September and October. Meals and your overnight stay will be at your carefully selected accommodation.

Get up early and enjoy breakfast before continuing with your game drive to see the Great Migration. Later we will drive back to the central area of the park for our overnight stay.
The Great Migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebra, and other animals crossing the Mara River to the Masai Mara in Kenya. The best time to visit is from July to early October every year.

After breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. Once we finish game drive, we will transfer you to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is among of UNESCO World heritage site that constitutes the world's largest uninterrupted caldera and one of Africa's natural wonders. Around 30,000 large mammals are resident all year round such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, and various birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. So be ready to see many animals in a short time and experience the nomadic society that living together with wildlife in the crater without harming one another.

 After enjoy delicious breakfast, our safari guide will drive you to Lake Eyasi, where you will meet the Hadzabe tribe. This tribe is famous for its hunting skills. You can go hunting with them and observe their skills first hand. Furthermore, you can stretch your legs by walking around Lake Eyasi and visiting the local village and experience the real African life style.  After all these activities, you will be taken back to the lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

After breakfast, relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping. From here, you will transfer to Arusha Airport for a flight to Zanzibar. Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (formerly known as Zanzibar International Airport) for a private transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast, our driver will take you to dolphin watching tour. The Dolphin tour takes place in the southernmost part of the island, precisely in the quaint Kizimkazi fishing village. Here many dolphins live happily in a natural setting, and so you will be able to see them in their best possible scenario. In fact this is the perfect place for dolphin watching in Zanzibar and it is also well known all around the world. There are bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphin. After all these activities, you will be taken back to the lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

These days are spent in Zanzibar for your leisure. Use your time to relaxing on the beach and at the resort at Smiles beach hotel, you will really get enough chance to enjoy the beach. Discover Zanzibar's best beaches, each offering spectacular sunsets, palm-fringed beaches, turquoise waters, white sand, and colorful coral reefs.

After breakfast, you will spent the last few hours at the resort for relaxation and leisure. We will pick you up at the resort and transfer you to Zanzibar Airport, where our safari ends.
On the way back to Zanzibar International Airport, you can stop at Stone town to buy souvenirs.
